Home                                  Antoine Vapor Pressure Equation

The Antoine equation is derived from the Claussius-Clapeyron equation which describes the phase transition between two phases of matter. The Antoine equation describes the relation between saturated vapor pressure and temperature of a pure component. For solvent blends the Raoult's law applies.

P= Pressure in Hg mm, T=Temperature in C,
A, B, C = Constants,
